Updated info
So its been a while since i have been on here let me fill you all in on everything that is going on....
First off Jesse had his surgery and it was a sucess! I am so greatful for all of you that prayed for him and so thankful that we were able to get an amazing Doctor to perform the surgery. We found out after the surgery from some of the nurses that the doctor that operated on Jesse is semi retired and he is REALLY picky about the cases and surgeries that he does. So we think that it was Jesses good attitude that helped him. After we finally got him home (after he had been in the hospital for about 2 weeks and was wheeling him self out when the put him in the wheel chair to leave ha ha) he is doing alot better. The recovery time for this type of surgery is about 2 months and then you really have to do light work for another 2-3 months. He is cancer free!!! However, he does have to do 3 8 week treatements of chemo and then go back for a final scan. He will go ever Wednesday for an hour and receive chemo for 6 weeks then take 2 weeks off then do that all over two more times. He will be doing chemo until about September. We are just greatful that he doesnt have to be in the hopsital to recieve the chemo and that after this we will just have to go in once a year to make sure this doenst come back. Thank you so much for all of your love, support, good thoughts, and advise through this hard time and please please please everyone get yourself screened!
Last weekend I was able to go the the coast for my dads birthday and hang out with my family! It was really fun, Jr, Jamie, Mike, Alyssa, Myself, Mom and Dad went to go see that new Fast and Furious movie. It was actually a really good movie. I really like the first one but the two that followed that were not good at all, but I think it might have helped because all the original people were in this new one. They also left it open for another movie! My mom and I went to pick out the fabric that we are going to use for the babies bedding. It is so cute its little pink lady bugs! I cant wait to see the final product!
The baby is doing great...and moving alot! Its finally moving to the point where I can see it on the outside of my belly. I always wake jesse up so he can see...lol i just think its cool he laughes at me and watches my belly as the baby moves around. I only have 118 days left and even though that is alot of days its gonna go by so quickly! We are so excited to be parents and cant wait for our little bundle of joy! I just want to know what she is going to look like!

Brithday!!
Here is my birthday post....so Jesse went out and got me an ice cream cake...that is my absolute favorite...however this pregnancy thing is changing what I can and cant eat without being sick. So i had a piece and it was great but that is ALL that i could have! I took the day off from work and in the morning Jesse and I went to his radiation appointment, went to eat at jack in the box (because again that is all that sounded good) and then came home and took a 4 hour nap! After we woke up we watched some TV and then he took me to the Olive Garden! Now that is my all time favorite place to eat, and Jesse really doesnt care for it, but once again he went because I love it! :)
Here is a picture of me and my cake if you cant read it, it says HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!! so cute!
This is my first maternity shirt that Jesses mom got me for christmas it is an all organic shirt...i love it and it says Earth Mother...I know bad shot but its how it fit ha ha

Lastly, today Jan 18 Jesse took me to a spot here near a lake we have. Now I'm not sure if any of you know but about 3 years ago Jesse and I along with another girl were in a REALLY bad car accidend (like we should not be alive) we were driving and the driver of the car missed the turn we were supposed to take and we few off a cliff... yes literally flew off a cliff. From that point on its been a really hard place to go and I used to go to the lake ALL the time! So he took me there and we started talking abou the accident and then he told me "well i dont want this place to be a mad memory so.." then he got down on one knee and said " Krista will you marry me " I know he said other things but that is what I remember. Of course I said yes, I am so excited! Everything that I have always wanted is coming true so here is a pic of the ring so all of you can see....
So its been a while since i have posted anything and i have not been able to find my cord for my camera to load pictures on my computer! So let me start with thanksgiving...We had all of Jesses family and my family here (they all met for the first time).
Here is my table pre food, the nice fall flowers that I got for decorations...i love getting flowers for each season
Here is everyone sitting down to eat...we had quite a few people. The only people that were missing is Jamie and mike and Auzia and Howie, from Jesses family his sister Vicky and her husband are also not here.

Thanksgiving was fun this time hosting it, there were some things that I would much rather not do, such as pulling the neck out of the turkey. That was a nice experience. My dad BBQ'd the bird, that tasted SOOOO good, we had stuffing, mashed potatoes, greenbean casserol (my first time making and trying), gravy, and homemade cranberry sause thanks to my mom. Jesses sister johana is a baker (she went to school for baking) and she made some pies that were to die for! Jesses mom made some homemade tortillas and refried beans! YUM YUM YUM Over all it was fun having both familys get to meet and we all clicked!

Exciting News
Ok so I am going to give everyone the back story...
So about 4 months ago Jesse and I decided that we wanted to try for a baby. So I stopped taking my birth control and we tried. Two months past and we still were not pregnant. So the third month Jesse was diagnosed with his cancer and we were told that there was a really good chance that he would NOT be able to have children after the treatment because of where it is. So we sat down and discused the choice of using a sperm bank so we would still have the chance. Jesse then said well lets get married because I dont want anything to happen to me and for me not to have done right by you and at least married you. So I figured we could try for one more month and then start taking the pill again because I CAN NOT get pregnant while he is doing chemo and radiation. So Saturday night I was like "wait I was supposed to start my period a week ago." So I went to the store and got a pregnancy test, came home and took it. I have taken so many since we started trying so I was preparing myself for it to come back negitive and thought well maybe I have not started because I am stressed with everything that is going on. So as I sat and waited for the test results to come back I thought how this was really our last chance to get pregnant.. at least on our own. I looked town to see a plus sign....
IM PREGNANT!!!! Just thought I would let you know I am so excited and I have wanted this for so long. I am excited for my parents because they seem so excited to be grandparents. I know they will be great!
Hope everyones day is great!

The Final Outcome
On WED Jesse and I went to see his oncologist to see when we could start his treatments. The Dr. told Jesse that he wanted him to go to the place right next door for his radiation. Well once the Dr. left to call over there he found out that his ins wouldnt cover Jesse over at the place (RIGHT NEXT DOOR). The girls at the Dr. office quickly called the ins. company to get an override otherwise they wanted him to travel to Fresno (and that is about 45 min away from our house) everyday for treatment. Not only would that be hard for him, but hard for me who would take him there. He has to go everyday for about 10 weeks. Also, he wants to work as long as possible and if we go to fresno he wouldnt be able to. So Thursday comes and we get a call from the Dr. office and they tell him that the Ins. company denied his claim and he MUST go to Fresno. Jesse did all he could by calling the ins and all they did was give him the run around. He called the Dr. office this morning to find out the name of the Dr. he needs to see in fresno and the nurse gave him GREAT news! THE DR. PUT UP A FIGHT AND NOW JESSE DOES NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL THAT FAR HE CAN DO IT WHERE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO IN THE FIRST PLACE! The Dr. he goes to see now is only about 20 min away. He also found out his treatment plan :
Week 1- 96 hours in hospital while getting chemo
Week 2-4 radiation treatment mon thru fri
Week 5- 96 hours in hospital while getting chemo
Week 6-9 Radiation treament mon thur fri
After all that treament he is going back to see if the tumer is totally gone or not if it is still there they will do surgery and then 2 more weeks of treatment.
I am so greatful for those girls in that office for working so hard to help Jesse out. I know how stressed he was about how we would make it work going that far everyday seeing as his mom is getting rides to her treatment every day as well. I know that we will find a way for everything to work, not sure how but I know we will
Thank you all for all your prayers!
